What's involved in the onboarding process?

If you feel we're a good match to your business then the next step is onboarding. There's a lot to do here but don't be daunted, we're here to help.

1. We take your first months payment and setup your credit card monthly payment.
2. We'll set you up on our systems.
3. We'll give you and onboarding form to complete for the marketing part of the Academy service.
4. We will help you set up your company if you are a Limited business. We'll discuss registered office, share options and directorships with you for companies house.
5. If you are a limited business you will be required by Companies House to verify your identity with documentation such as your passport. You'll need the name, nationality, date of birth, address and occupation of the Director which will be yourself. If you appoint other directors they will need to go through the same process.
6. You will be put in touch with our accountant.
7. We will advise on accounting software.
8. If you think you should register for VAT at this stage we can advise. You might want to do this as you may have a lot of capital equipment to purchase, or you may want to appear a larger company than you actually are.
9. We will guide you through the process of getting your new domain name. You will own this, not us, as this too important to not own yourself.
10. We will guide you through setting up an email account with your new domain name.
11. If you don't already have social media accounts setup we will advise which are most relevant to your new business. You should set these up in your own name, we can help if required.
12. We will build your new website and advise on content and structure.
13. We will help you create a logo if required.
14. We will help you setup Google analytics and search console for your website.
15. We will assist you in setting up a Google My Business page and an Apple Maps business page.
16. We will get your "Virtual Office" setup.
